Next year is likely to be a year of reckonings for America. For as bad as 2020 has been, there is the very real possibility that 2021 will be even worse for us. This was the concern that we began discussing internally through the Summer. In response, as we approached the Fall, VFS began the American Futures 2021 project, a series of rapid forecasts to quickly and repeatedly explore the continually shifting landscape of 2021 for the United States.
Below is the first brief out from the project, which highlights some of the key issues that emerged in the initial forecasts and discussions.
